Our vision:
To encourage students to pursue degrees and careers in biology or biology-related fields by offering events which provide information and experience.
Our goals:
Generally speaking, our goals are to promote the intellectual growth of our members through multiple avenues. Our specific goals for the club are to set up meetings with guest speakers who work in various facets of biology, to visit the campuses of colleges with great bio programs, to tour facilities where biology is being used, and to start, participate in, and assist with biology-related volunteer projects.
Meetings:
We currently meet on Thursdays from 11:30 - 12:30 in the Science Center, Building 1, near Mr. Heyer's office (look for the comfy couch). We know not everyone can make this time, and we're trying to schedule to accommodate as many as possible. Go weigh in at the Facebook discussion and tell us when you could make meetings.
